Ascora’s recurring job templates are flexible, allowing you to skip or remove upcoming jobs without disrupting the entire sequence. Whether a customer decides to postpone a single service, or you need to adjust future jobs due to new requirements, Ascora provides easy methods to either cancel, delete, or entirely remove a recurring job template. This ensures you maintain control over your recurring schedules and can adapt to changes as needed.
Use the following steps to:
- Cancel future job instances so they won’t appear again.
- Delete future job instances to have them automatically re-created under updated settings.
- Delete an entire template if you no longer need those recurring jobs going forward.
Access the Job Templates
- Click the Advanced icon in the top menu, then select Job Templates.

View the Recurring Job Template
- Find the recurring template you want to modify and click View. This opens the template’s details page.

Cancel a Future Instance of a Recurring Job
Use Cancel if a customer wants to skip one or more scheduled services without permanently removing them from the sequence.
- Open the Jobs Tab
- In the template details, select the Jobs Tab to see a list of all future jobs generated from this template.

- Select the Job(s) to Cancel
- Locate the job instance(s) you want to skip and check the box next to each

- Cancel the Selected Jobs
- Click Cancel Jobs

- Confirm the Cancellation
- Click Yes to finalize. These jobs will not be recreated for future schedules

Delete a Future Recurring Job Instance
Use Delete if job settings or details have changed and you want Ascora to automatically regenerate the job with updated information.
- Open the Jobs Tab
- In the template, navigate to the Jobs Tab again.

- Select the Job(s) to Delete
- Check the box next to the instance(s) you want removed.

- Delete the Selected Jobs
- Click Delete Jobs

- Confirm Deletion
- Click Yes to confirm. Ascora will remove these job instances, but will regenerate them based on any new template settings.

Delete an Entire Recurring Job Template
Removing a template permanently stops future jobs from being created and also deletes any upcoming ones already scheduled.
- Delete the Template
- From the template details page, click Delete Template. A Manage Incomplete Jobs window will pop up.

Manage Existing Incomplete Jobs
- If any future jobs have already been created, choose whether to Cancel them before deleting the template.
- Once ready, click Delete Job Template and OK to confirm

By choosing the right action—Cancel, Delete, or Delete Template—you can keep your recurring job schedules clean and up to date, ensuring Ascora accurately reflects your ongoing service commitments.
